Apparently, this was not run for very long. I get real curious when a fragrance is met with 'we don't get it' . Dump it, 'it aint sellin'. I just have to move in for the sniff. I like prospecting. I'm getting real good at it, but had to waste some money at first. In summary, silvery lavender and silvery woods, ethereal orange blossom with hints of smoke, honey, patchouli and dry white tobacco. The late drydown smells of the white tobacco with a bit of vanilla. i will never buy this again as there are so many fragrances that are better in every single way than this. I will say that there is some kind of creaminess about this scent that totally turns me off. It's most notable in the first 5 minutes. it's like a juniper/sandalwood mixture which triggers a nauseating response for me. Again, it doesn't last long - but it's definitely there.It then becomes a little sharp, with notes of pine/juniper. All the aromas remain spiky and aromatic. I don't think this smells generic. Bleu De Chanel has become the Generic smelling cologne for me because there are so many that smell like it, Jimmy Choo, Acqua Essenziale, Sauvage etc. This one doesn't smell like Bleu De Chanel, so cross that "generic" description off the list. It smells really good, like almost fruity, but sexy. I have a yuuuge collection and I don't have anything that smells as close to this as all the previously mentioned one's smell to Bleu De Chanel. Seriously, this is a unique fragrance, unless you are comparing it to Gucci Guilty Intense which is supposed to smell like it. This stuff smells good, maybe familiar, but it is original. I can't stand Allure Homme sport EE (Powdery & childish I don't get it Blanche is better) - yet I love Versace PH. Versace PH can get boring sometimes though. This is a happy medium between the two; this is sort of like the balanced Versace PH yet take some amplified pepper and lavender all the while making it still balanced and sexy.

I believe all have sinned, and what pleasure we found is guilty on its own. Guilty in temptation, guilty in material wealth, guilty in endless pursuit of beautiful images. All these messages complicated on GUCCI Guilty's AD, the horrible bottle, and the scent respectively. The Heliotrope adds a lush nectar/sweetness with maybe even some heft! The only base I can really detect is Cedar which I have come to love. After some hours, the final drydown does seem to have the White Musk factor and it is barely detectable--but 'gamey' and classy. Projection is good and lasts on the skin (the base notes) for a good few hours.The bottle is crafted of cold metal and heavy glass, making an impression of masculinity and luxury. Paired with the feminine edition, all splendid and golden, cabochon grey male bottle seems very elegant and alluring. The middle of the bottle is decorated with a metallic Gucci sign, transparent to reveal the fragrant fluid. With that said- as my collection becomes more solidified and less experimental It's hard to find a place for this in my rotation- it's almost like a special reach fragrance if I have a crush on someone at work and I want to replace the uplifting elegant Bleu De Chanel EDP in the Spring until the co-worker takes the bait or turns me down lol. The violet, the cypress and the rosemary with heliotrope and juniper berries create a vibe hard to explain. Some said it smells somewhat medicinal and I can see that. I find the vibe it gives being a gentle metallic, with a little sweetness (probably from patchouli) and some greenness, but both the sweetness and greenness are one with the gentle metallic smell, not on their own (this is very well blended). it smells like cheap cologne. i would not be surprised if anyone told me it was axe. but hey, axe smells kinda good and masculine, and so does this.

Silage/Projection - 6/10(moderate to soft projection and silage for the first 1 hour,than sits closer to skin for the duration of the scent's evolution) My one caveat is some of these sample bottles are dauber, open types, not sprays. And sometimes it seems to me, when you put a fragrance on that way, straight from the bottle, you miss notes. I don’t know if the scent molecules can settle, or if when they are decanted something is missing. It seems to happen more with this type. Or, maybe it’s my imagination. I do not get any incense or scratchy chemical notes like I do from BdC or AdG Profumo. This is way more smooth and much more pleasing to me.

Gucci Guilty Cologne’s reception seems to be lukewarm overall, and while I can understand the bar being set fairly high by the three prior releases of 2017 and 2018—Guilty Absolute Pour Homme / Pour Femme and Guilty Oud—and I agree with some that find there to be a sort of calone-like prominence that makes for a very sharp marine vibe.. Today I tried the scent for the 3rd time. And all I can say is - not for me. I kinda think it is my skin that doesn`t want to match with this juice as it should; I refuse to believe that I don`t like this scent, although I really want to..

Secondly, this scent in final dry down offers a real delicate interpretation of musk and a much brighter Patchouli that fools my nose. I saw it in the notes, I did not detect it. So light. . . must be the leaves. Things were actually worst for women. The whole "Parfum" line, Acenti, Flora, Gucci by Gucci, and so on... This scent is remarkably successful in attaining two goals: First off, it has a certain bulk to the fragrance cloud as well as a bright aspect. Also the Violet is so nice and the Heliotrope is like a really satisfying confection or pastry. I think the Heliotrope adds the "bulk". For all of the gentlemen who love and choose Gucci, the woody aromatic Guilty Pour Homme is presented to the market in 2011 as an aromatic companion of popular female edition Gucci Guilty from 2010.

At the time it had been two consecutive days and I had worn nothing but Gucci Guilty Cologne trying to understand it, but also enjoying it. Performance is quite strong for a cologne even an edt but stable. It is clean and soft, like fabric softener and baby-powder in the air but contrasted by the facets of creaminess, fizziness and the sparkle of shaving cream like an ultra-modern fougère. The scent profile humors me. It is humbling expressing humility by displaying an infant-like cleanliness but then it is rounded and matured by a cleanliness that is also of a grown man clean shaven. I have stopped wearing it to understand it because not understanding it is why I love it. Gucci Guilty Cologne is Olfactory art. It is a statement. Weather -For more or less any time of year.Best in spring and summer.I personally wouldn't wear this on a really cold winter days.
